Teleport is hosted in the trusted & secure, GDPR accredited and reliable datacenters. Multiple copies of you recorded data, in multiple global locations, ensure data is not lost in the event of a datacenter going offline. We are 100% cloud based on Microsoft Azure. In the event of network or hardware failure, recovery usually occurs automatically, with datacenter engineers always standing by in case manual intervention is required.
Internally within Teleport, GDPR compliant data handling practices come naturally. We never supply unlisted third-party vendors with user information and only save identifying information with user consent and when it is necessary for the operation of the service.
At present, other than Microsoft Azure, we use the following vendors, Auth0 for secure user login and Recurly for secure billing and credit card handling. This means that for password and vital user information, as well as payment and credit card information, we use the best in the business to ensure your data is protected.
Over the last 6 years of operation, we've had just a few hours of downtime, mostly caused by underlying network infrastructure/connectivity issues. This is with in the 99.95% percent SLA guarantee by Azure.
